Have you heard of Scramble Parkour?
There’s an all-new Scramble coming soon – and we think you’re going to be thrilled when you see it. Scramble Parkour will be where children and teenagers can run, climb, and vault their way through challenging-yet-safe obstacle courses. It will open soon in The Village of Shirlington.
WHAT IS IT?
We describe Scramble Parkour as an activity gym where adrenaline meets adventure. It offers thrilling obstacle courses for children aged 4 to 18 to tackle. To give you an idea of what’s in store, the obstacle courses are like those on TV shows you may have seen such as Wipeout or American Ninja Warrior.
Each course is graded for difficulty, allowing kids to test their limits and level up as their skills advance. Some courses serve as individual tests; others are great for side-by-side races or team relays.
There are also free-play zones for infants and toddlers. The whole family can have fun at Scramble Parkour! In fact, since it has areas geared specifically at teenagers, we think our new offering will be perfect for families with older kids who thought they had “aged out” of an afternoon at Scramble.
CLEAN, SAFE, FUN – OF COURSE!
You can expect Scramble Parkour to be the same safe, clean, fun environment you know and love from us. We’ll be using best-in-class soft play equipment from Europe to ensure safety, made by the same manufacturer who builds our Scramble Indoor Play center equipment.
Each area inside Scramble Parkour will be themed after a specific or imagined Washington D.C. neighborhood, such as National Mall or Upper and Lower J Street. What’s more, the mural art on the walls is painted by local street artists! We’re incredibly honored and thrilled to showcase these talents and will be presenting them to you on our social media channels soon.
GREAT FOOD & DRINKS – ALSO OF COURSE!
We’ve long believed the delicious, locally sourced food and beverages we serve at Scramble is an important reason why families keep coming back. That will be especially true at Scramble Parkour, which introduces a new concept for us – a separate-yet-connected restaurant area that can be enjoyed even if your plans don’t include active physical play. We hope this restaurant (called Union Station Cafe, in keeping with the D.C. Metro theme) will become a frequent go-to lunch and dinner option for your family.
